About My First Life
First Life... OK, I don't really know what to tell about this one, as you've probably noticed I'm into anime and MMORPG's (sometimes playing World of Warcraft). I don't really like to discuss studying and working right away, aren't we here to take a rest from all this?

About My Second Life
I'm slowly starting to lose all the interest in it, looks like I'm not old and bored enough for all this yet or just need something fresh or interesting to happen. IF you decided to add me, then please, say something along and DON'T just be another collector, outgrow this stage already.

I guess it's hard to make up some new and original plot when there are a lot of titles out there. And this can be applied pretty much to everything. Try to explore some specific musical genre, for example, and at least after 10-15 artists you'll be getting dejavu feeling. Expecially when something becomes too trendy, a lot of people try to snatch some piece of popularity by exploiting this modern trend. Anime characters indeed almost all look the same. As far as I get it, it's not the graphics that define then, but the script that describes their tempers, behavior patterns, etc.

Never was a hip-hop fan either. If you like industrial music, then you might like "Club Industry" if it is still working. They play EBM music and other stuff like this there. And also a lot of cybergoth themed avatars in there. As for me, I prefer clubs with trance or chillout music, it's something new for me for now and I like to explore it more. Visiting live music gigs in SL is nice too, though far not all of SL live artists are enjoyable. I've watched a few anime titles that my friends who are into it suggested me. Most popular ones, I guess. I enjoyed them but not because of specific style of drawing, just liked the story. And music was very nice there as well.

Major clubs with live DJs that stick to some specific genre without random pop music are usually okay with everything else including people. I was quite impressed with "Element the 8th" new unusual design, Toontopia is also seems to be a nice place. Most of them are featuring trance music. I also enjoy visiting jazz clubs sometimes, a lot of intelligent people around. Nowdays trap music is getting popular, I guess. It is something between hip hop and dubstep as far as i get it.

I also like clubs where DJs are not just using winamp to play tracks, which I can do myself, but making live mixes, creating mesmerizing musical journeys. Good interrior and nice people are also appreciated. And also SL has some talented musical artists who perform live, though they are hard to find there. Demonic club is still working 24/7, as far as I know. At least I've been there recently.

Cute male avies are minority in SL. They were trending a few years ago, though. Everyone wants to be a bad boy, I suppose) I have one friend with avie, which I think fits the bishounen definition, and he recieves compliments from strangers from time to time. Too bad than most of SL clubs work at inconvenient time, I also miss a lot of live music events because of that. Narrows down a choise of activities in SL for a little.

Never really paid attention to that. Usually see men with naked torsos on beaches, but there are obvious reasons for that. In english-speaking clubs and other hang out places that I visit most of them are fully clothed, at least 4 of 5 are so, I think. Perhaps men who do that are trying to make themselves more sexually appealing, like lots of girls who dress up like hookers. Also possible that they enjoy the look of naked man's body which points at their sexual orientation. I'm not saying that both reasons are bad, SL is about self-expression in whatever way one likes, after all)

Yea, those who are hanging out in adult places don't have time for making themselves look nice, too busy hitting on girls, lol. Nowadays simple, but beautiful and graceful avatar is the one who really stand out from the crowd for me. Maybe it's because I don't see a lot of people fully covered with numerous accessories in RL, so sometimes when going to dance clubs I feel like I got myself into some kind of freak show. But anyway, I find it as a way for the people to express themselves and their avatars reflect their personality in some way.

Some people don't pay much attention to their avatars, probably they just don't really care about it and are ok with the average avie look. I don't blame them, they must be having other interests in sl than shopping for clothes. But it's always nice when someone looks aesthetically pleasing. These grotesque avatars with unreal shape proportions really make me sick. It may be funny for the first time, but then it gets annoying. Fortunately some of SL fashion blogs are being run by people with good taste and sense of style, working hard to deliver great pictures with creative looks.

I guess owners of such kind of junkyards are having some profit from people traffic, so they do whatever they can to keep the crowd flowing. For newcomers they must be as interesting as first were for you back then, a lot of stuff laying just nearby and waiting for someone to try it without need to browse the marketplace or track the freebie blogs. I think if this gonna go that way, most of the people will be wearing full mesh bodies eventually. After new materials release the difference between the mesh model and LL avatar gonna be even bigger.

Yes, only a few old clothing items still look good now and only thanks to designers creativity. I think most of these crap freebie malls are for newbies who haven't seen any good stuff yet, others should just ignore such kind of malls. Lindens actually could have updated default avatar model to look like at least this Avatar 2.0 body and remaining all shape adjustment options, how awesome that would be! Don't think it would take too much effort for them. Perhaps they aren't doing anything with avatars on purpose.
