5. En esta parte del Globo terraqueo hay mas habitantes que hablan espanol que ingles, Incluso en EU hay millones que hablan espanol. Que me dicen de: Mejico, Puerto Rico (Arriba boricuas), Cuba, Republica Dominicana, Toda america central, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Uruguay, Praguay, Ecuador, Salvador, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay etc etc. Cuanta gente en todos esos paises? Los hipanos somos una gran fuerza en el mundo, Una pena que la mayoria no se ha dado cuenta de ello. Asi que aunque hablo ingles tambien ; AMO Y ADORO EL ESPANOL y lamento que tengo que usar mas el ingles porque ese es el idioma internacional de negocios. Pero senores el espanol es un idioma hermoso e importante tambien.

6. Because we'd have to "PRESS 1 TO START SECOND LIFE IN ENGLISH". To hell with that. Everything is English based, YOU change, not US. Simple and better for everyone. I'm sick and tired of jerks like some of you people that call ME ignorant or 'racist' (for a White European language?)because I dont need to use Spanish in RL. I have THREE degrees and working on a fourth, I'm a single mother and work full time. YOU learn power factor correction on a inductive motor and know what capacitance to add to bring it to 99% efficiency. THEN I might learn Spanish if I *choose* to. Feel free to make your OWN SL-type game, and leave the whining at home, crybabies!

7. Wow! Vissy's a little hostile. And for someone who thinks she is all that and oh-so-smart because she has some mechanical know-how, I wonder why she doesn't know that most software programs let you choose the primary language at install and you are not required to choose language every time you log in.

And as a White American, I am quite happy to call you ignorant and xenophobic - not because you don't care to learn Spanish which is well within your rights, but because you are so selfish that you want to deny a Spanish interface to non-English speakers, because you say YOU CHANGE, not US!

It would be nice to ignore people like you, but it's dangerous because it's your attitude that makes people in other countries hate America. It's people like you that endanger us all, so we all have an obligation to stand up to the Ugly Americans...and Vissy, you are one hell of an Ugly American.

8. Spanish is the second language more spoken all over the world (not including chinese) and the spanish community at SL is so big, consifering latin america, Spain, and so USA. So it´s absolutely neccesary the spanish option, I don´t care if you Josie have leart or not spanish, but I have the right to use my own language because I´m a member as you of the SL comunity and I don´t need to speak your language all the time. I have the right to choose, and so you. :))

9. If they do it in Spanish then they must do it in ALL languages. Is not fair to give in to one and not the others. The only other language I care and want to learn is German...no other.

10. If everyone would type out properly we could translate all profiles into many languages. But I suppose that would end personal choice and make everyone think everyone speaks their language. Use the language you speak. That way I will know if you and I can talk to each other in English or not.

11. Oh and by the way, if someone really wants to talk to me I do use the translator or I use Babelfish to talk in their language.
