About My Second Life
Who is Ryker Beck? This is undoubtedly the question you’re asking yourself if you’ve arrived at this page. While I’m very curious to know why you are interested in knowing exactly “who” I am (and honestly, who wouldn’t be fascinated with the prospect of people wanting to know “who” they are), I suppose I will just have to answer this question as simply as possible.
I am Ryker. I was born into the Second Life grid on February 22, 2007. As of today, I have yet to launch any kind of business for myself, though several business plans have crossed my tiny little mind - everything from starting a magazine to making skins. I am fascinated by all things artistic, technical, beautiful, and thought provoking. Cockroaches terrify me, though I consider spiders to be very “pretty to look at” (but look out if one happens to get near me, because I WILL jump up on the nearest surface and dial 911). My favorite color is solar yellow. I have been told that this is fitting, because it is bright and sunny, just like me *smiles brattishly*. My favorite quote would have to be, “I am always doing that which I cannot do, so that I may learn how to do it,” by none other than the brilliant artist Picasso. I consider this quote to be my life’s motto, only because it is true — I am always doing that which I cannot do… so that I may learn how to do it.
One day, I plan to leave an impression on Second Life with my creations. Until that day comes, I am again, simply… Ryker.
